I work as part of the Audience Integrations team. In this team, we design, develop, and maintain the processes of data transformation (using Python) and data creation and sending to external platforms (using Golang).
I worked as a member of the Seller Central team, which was focused on the flows (publishing, modification, etc.) and tools related to sellers. During my three years at this company, I was promoted twice, received the ‘Above Expectations’ qualification every year, and was selected as a Role model last year. In the 12 projects we managed, we wrote Unit tests for every pull request we made, with a minimum coverage of 80% for each one. To achieve this, we used JUnit, Mockito, and Robolectric. We also had automated tests using Calabash (later migrated to Appium) for our main flow (item publishing). Every week, one of the team members acted as the ‘release manager’ responsible for generating the releases of every library we managed using a Circle CI pipeline. My team and I designed every new feature, working together with the UX and Backend teams, and defining the architecture in documents called RFCs (Request for Comments), using UML diagrams as the primary tool.
As a Ssr Software Engineer, I became the leader of Flox, an internal open-source library, and provided support to more than 22 teams of MercadoLibre and MercadoPago.
